For multi-unit restaurant operators

Nexora Analytics — The Restaurant Operating Platform
for Multi-Unit Brands

Nexora unifies sales, labour, inventory and P&L across every location into a single source of truth — so you protect margin while you can still change it, not six weeks after it is gone.

What changes once it is running

Three numbers operators tell us moved

5–10 Weekly admin hours saved on P&L, labour and inventory consolidation that used to be rebuilt by hand
2–7% Reduction in prime cost across food and labour, once variance is visible inside the period
100% Of connected locations on the same definitions, on the same page, every morning

Observed ranges across deployments, not guarantees. How we get there →

Why one platform

Your data already exists. It just never sits together.

Sales in the POS, hours in payroll, invoices in an inbox, and a spreadsheet someone rebuilds every Monday to tie them up. Nexora reads all four and keeps them joined, so a figure means the same thing everywhere.

  • One data model instead of five exports and a manual merge
  • Every store measured the same way, on the same period
  • Nothing ripped out — the POS alone is enough to start
Illustrative — five systems reconciled by hand, or one that stays joined.

The reality of multi-unit operations

Scaling is hard. Scaling blind is harder.

Four things go wrong in almost exactly the same order, in almost every brand, at almost exactly the same size.

01

Rising prime costs

Food and labour climb quietly. Without real-time tracking, unnoticed variance and overstaffing erode margin every single day before anyone sees a number.

02

Operational blind spots

Waiting for a monthly P&L is too slow. You need profitability and performance today — not two weeks after the period has already closed.

03

Fragmented data silos

POS, vendor portals, payroll and spreadsheets each hold a piece. Consolidating by hand is slow, error-prone, and always one week behind the decision.

04

Inconsistent execution

You cannot stand in every store at once. Without centralised visibility and standard reporting, execution drifts and the guest feels it first.

Why Nexora exists

The number always arrived six weeks too late.

Close the month, wait on the accountant, read a P&L in the third week of the next one — describing a month nobody can change any more. Nexora started as one question: which store is losing money right now, and why?

Illustrative — the gap between a decision and the number that judges it.

The platform

Six modules, one data model

Each one answers a different question about your estate. They share the same figures, so the answers never contradict each other. The screens are illustrated here; the live product is shown on a call.

Revenue & planning

Store-level P&L, side by side

Gross sales down to net income for each location, sourced from POS and expense data rather than retyped from a statement.

  • Period and year-to-date, together
  • Cost of goods, gross profit, EBITDA and net income
  • Export to Excel or PDF for the board pack
Illustrative — the real screen is shown on a call.

Store operations

Reporting that closes daily, not monthly

Total labour cost, hours, overtime and headcount across the stores you select. Overtime is visible while the week is still running.

  • Labour cost and hours by store and period
  • Overtime surfaced before it is paid, not after
  • Stores ranked by risk, so you know where to look first
Illustrative — the real screen is shown on a call.

Product & inventory

Counted versus invoiced

Every item, counted against what the vendor invoiced. Where the two disagree, the variance shows itself.

  • Counted against invoiced, by category
  • Feeds cost of goods straight into the P&L
  • Vendor invoices read in rather than retyped
Illustrative — the real screen is shown on a call.

Forecasting

Sales and labour, predicted from your own history

A forecast built from the store’s own trading history, with a budget set as a percentage of it — then measured against what actually happened.

  • Forecast from the store’s own sales history
  • Budget set as a percentage of forecast sales
  • Plan versus actual, in hours and dollars
Illustrative — the real screen is shown on a call.

Events & news

The opportunities happening around each store

Nexora watches events and local news inside a radius you set for every location and surfaces only what a restaurant can act on — a festival that needs a booth, a road race that spikes footfall, a sponsorship slot opening nearby.

  • Nearby events and news, filtered to a radius you set per store
  • Flagged by opportunity: booth & cart, catering demand, sponsorship
  • Surfaced to the store and area manager, not buried in a newsletter
Illustrative — invented listings, no real venue.

NexAI

Ask your data a question in plain English

Type the question the way you would ask an area manager. NexAI answers from live store data and shows the figures it worked from, so every answer can be checked.

  • Plain-language questions over live data
  • Every answer shows the figures behind it
  • Scoped by the same permissions as the rest of the app

How it works

Connected, not replaced

Nexora reads from the systems you already run, joins them once, and hands each person the slice their role is scoped to. Nothing gets ripped out.

Illustrative — sources in, one model, role-scoped views out.

Connect your systems

POS, payroll, banking and broadline vendors sync securely. The POS alone is enough to start.

See it the same morning

Daily store performance, true food cost, labour variance and margin, in one place your whole team reads the same way.

Act before it hits the P&L

Budgets, schedules and counts live beside the reporting, so the fix happens in the same place you spotted the problem.

Access model

One login. Three altitudes.

The hardest part of multi-unit software is not the reporting. It is making sure a store manager sees their store, an area manager sees their region, and only the executive sees everything — without maintaining three products.

  • Executive. Every location, consolidated.
  • Multi-unit manager. Their region only.
  • Store general manager. Their store only.
Illustrative — permissions are set once, on the role.
A store that looks fine on the monthly P&L can be the one quietly bleeding overtime. The whole product exists to shorten the time between that happening and you knowing.

The Nexora principle · one number on time, then the reason behind it, then the controls to act.

Reviews, next to the numbers that caused them

A falling rating is an operations problem before it is a marketing one. Nexora pulls reviews from Google and from your own review page and puts them on the same screen as labour and food cost.

Questions

What operators ask first

Straight answers, including the ones that are a “no”.

What exactly is Nexora?

Nexora is a restaurant operating platform for multi-unit brands. It connects to your POS, payroll, banking and broadline vendors, then presents sales, labour, inventory and a store-level profit and loss in one place. The point is timing: you see the numbers the same morning rather than in the third week of the following month.

Who is it for?

Multi-unit restaurant groups from three locations to three thousand — growing regional brands through national and franchise-scale chains. The range is wide because every store runs on the same data model: adding your five-hundredth location works exactly like adding your fifth. Executives get every store, area managers get their region, and general managers get their own store, all from one login.

How is it different from my POS reporting?

A POS reports sales. It does not know your payroll, your vendor invoices or your operating expenses, so it cannot produce a prime cost or a P&L. Nexora joins those sources, which is why it can show cost of goods, labour percentage and net income by store rather than revenue alone.

What do I have to connect before it is useful?

The POS is the one that matters; it carries sales and, in most cases, timeclock data. Payroll, banking and vendor invoices deepen the picture, but a single POS connection is enough to start seeing daily sales, labour percentage and store comparison.

How long does implementation take?

Connection is measured in days, not quarters, because Nexora reads from systems you already run rather than replacing them. The longer part is mapping employees and items so labour and cost of goods land against the right store.

Can a general manager see other stores' numbers?

No. Access is scoped by role, and the scope is set once and inherited by everyone who holds that role. A store GM sees their own store. A multi-unit manager sees their region. Only executive roles see the whole estate.

Does it replace my accountant?

No. It gives you an operational P&L you can act on during the period, while the accountant produces the statutory one after it. Most operators find the two agree far more closely once daily variance is visible.

What is NexAI?

NexAI answers plain-English questions against your live store data and shows the figures it worked from, so the answer can be checked rather than trusted.

Is Nexora an AI restaurant management platform?

Yes, in part. NexAI is Nexora's AI layer — it answers plain-English questions over your own live sales, labour and P&L data and always shows the figures behind the answer, rather than generating a number nobody can check. The rest of the platform (P&L, labour, inventory, forecasting) runs on defined calculations, not AI, because a prime cost figure needs to be exact, not generated.

What does Events & news do?

It watches events and local news inside a radius you set for each store and surfaces only what a restaurant can act on — a nearby festival that needs a booth, an event that will spike footfall, a sponsorship or catering opening. It goes to the store and area manager rather than sitting in a marketing newsletter nobody opens.
